Can any local merchant or services firm participate?

Yes. “Local” includes all businesses that have a location or that provide services in the San Antonio and surrounding community. By this definition, a local McDonald’s or Starbucks is included, as is a one-store boutique.

What will prevent pranksters from posting fake listings or trying to hurt my business?

We require contact information from the local business so that we can contact them to verify the listing.

Do all orders need to be placed through the self-serve system?

Yes. This is a requirement to process your payment efficiently so we get your package up and running promptly. However, you can contact your sales representative to help assist you with the self-serve system to enter an order.

Can I request an invoice instead of using a credit card?

No. In order to keep prices low and facilitate self-service, all local businesses must use a credit card. If we are putting together a custom package that includes non-standard components, we can support invoices on a case-by-case basis. Talk with your sales representative for details.


What is the cancellation policy?

Listings are sold on a month-to-month basis with automatic renewal unless the local business sends an email to openforbusiness@mysa.com before the last business day of the current billing month with instructions to cancel the listing. 

How are my banner ads targeted?

We will use both contextual and behavioral targeting to put your ads in front of the most appropriate audiences.

If my business is not open to the public, can I still list it only with a gift card link?

Yes. Gift cards are the perfect solution to help bring revenue to your business when consumers are unable to go to your establishment. Every listing includes a prominent link directly to the merchant’s gift card offer. Merchants can set up their gift card system however they like. Merchants keep 100% of the gift card proceeds.
