TRIBUTES - OBITUARY
During a family’s time of sorrow, we want to reflect on those who have passed. The San Antonio Express-News will begin featuring a special section quarterly on Sunday, October 18, 2020 called Tributes. This feature will commemorate and honor those who were lost the previous months.
Obituaries through the paper have been, and continues to be, an important part of how families spread the news of a loved one. An obituary may be the only time that person’s name ever appears in the paper, and it is through that obituary that a lasting record of a person’s life is written.
Readers care about obituaries because the featured people on the page were their friends and neighbors, former classmates, fellow church members, or people who played vital roles in the community.
